Multi-Award-Winning composer Miles Ito brings his passion and sensibility for thematic musical textures and emotional depth to every one of his projects.

Over the past decade, he has scored, recorded, and produced soundtracks and albums for dozens of films, commercials, TV and web series, artists, and video games across multiple genres and platforms. Most of all, Miles enjoys collaborating with the talented directors and producers to create scores that tastefully enhance the narrative of each story.

Miles has had work premiere at Sundance, Tribeca, and SXSW film festivals with distribution on networks such as Fox, Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS, and American Public Television.

Whether creating suburban dystopian electronic music for the suspense thriller, “Murder RX,” 70’s grooves for the period documentary, “Like A Rolling Stone: The Life and Times of Ben Fong-Torres,” or the Morricone-inspired orchestral score for “Cold Chains Hard Hearts and Bloody Hands,” Miles’ musical versatility and empathic ability enables him to craftily compose and produce unique and high-quality music and film scores for all types of genres.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Miles Ito fell in love with music and moving images at an early age, improvising at the piano to muted cartoons on TV for his siblings to watch. Miles studied at UCLA, Berklee College of Music, and the Hollywood Music Workshop in Baden, Austria, and has since built a name for himself crafting award-winning and sophisticated scores for dozens of films, TV shows, commercials, and video games, including the Emmy-nominated series “First Kitchen, Boodline,” the award-winning web series “.After”, and the recent critically-acclaimed Sundance short film, “American Paradise.”
